Things To Do At Home!

Dear 2020, What’s going on?

This year has offered me a lot of opportunities that I'm forever grateful for. With that being said, this year has also been the hardest 4 months the world has ever endured. As a whole, the hardships of this year has torn the everyone apart. I pray that this brings us closer together more than ever. But I’m here to give you positive vibes only! Everyday we are seeing/ hearing so much negative news and comments on our feed. It’s actually depressingly scary. With God on our side, we got this Virus Y'all!!! Let’s continue to pray and uplift our health care workers, small business owners, and etc.

I’m here today to share some of the things that has helped me during this time at home. I know everyone is creating a list, but you never know some of these little things may help you feel better about staying in

Quarantine Tings:

Read a book/ Magazine— My fav is More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are (No Matter What They Say) by Elaine Welteroth or Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon for all the feels. I just finished my InStyle Magazine with Kerry Washington looking stunning as always.

Organize your space — Take a minute to declutter the things in your home/ Room it really can be relaxing

Watch some of your favorite shows (Netflix, Hulu, Disney +) I’m watching my childhood favorite at the moment Kim Possible!

Purchase some wine and relax. Just picked up a Strawberry Moscato and whew chile it’s so good!!

Experimenting. I recently discovered I like Green Tea. I live in the south where sweet tea is a big deal ( Still Don’t Like it ) But I'm enjoying Green Tea!

Start something new. It’s the perfect time to try that juice cleanse you’ve been thinking about doing.

Figure out your skin routine. This takes a while but I mean you now have some time to know what makes your skin happy.

Go walking/jogging around the neighborhood

Cooking! I don’t like to cook but I can cook when it’s time. The other day I cooked a Spicy Black Bean burger with homemade fries, soo sooo sooo good and also rewarding.

I know this is bad to say but… Shopping. Shopping has helped me a lot even if its digital window shopping I know in the back of my mind it’s helping me feel normal.

Coloring. Yes, Coloring! It’s so soothing to just sit in your room play calm music and just color.

Check on your friends-it’s so important to be there for your friends and family at this time. It also helps you to see a friendly face

At Home Photoshoots! I love photography and with the virus, I can’t go out and take pictures. I created my backdrop with a sheet, hooked up my ring light and camera and took some bomb pictures.

Have a closet party. Try on clothes in your closest and create your runway. Have fun and build some new fresh ideas for when you’re finally free to wear them.
