From Summer to Fall

This year is flying by super fast, and that’s fine by me! Bring on the Fall weather. In Mississippi, the weather is frequently switching in-between seasons. Mornings feel amazing, afternoons are dreadful! Although I love shopping for new clothes, I know some of my clothes need more wear. The best way to do that is by building a collection of pieces that flow together for the upcoming season. Today I’m going to share a few ways I’m using my summer and fall items to create outfits straight from my closest, no purchase needed.

Summer Dresses

The perfect way to transform your summer dress into a fall vibe is just adding simple touches. We know it’s still hot, but now and then it might get a little cold. If you have a summer dress with skinny straps, try adding a crew neck shirt under it with cute jewelry and a midi boot. Keep your maxi dresses out! Maxi’s are perfect for summer and fall, an oversized sweater would look great with a maxi. Super simple, but fashionable.

Graphic Tees

I Love graphic tees so much! They are a staple in everyday casual wear. So don’t put the tee’s up just yet! Add personality to your top by grabbing a cute cardi with your favorite pair of sneakers or boots. Another thing that I love to do, if it’s cold only, add a funky turtle neck long sleeve under my graphic tee. With an added hat, you’re fall certified.

Skirts

Skirt and Boots will forever be a hit! Keep them out! Remember you can dress this outfit up or keep it simple. Love the combination of a midi skirt with a split on the side and a tall boot. Another stylish combo is a skirt that’s just above the knee with a printed Blazer. Love this look, very fresh. Is it just me? Very stylish!

Puff/ Off the Shoulder Tops

Puff sleeved and off the shoulder tops are also rolling into Fall/Winter. They are here to stay! You can style the tops with a cute pair of flair jeans to give it a fall feel with a hat or straight leg jeans. Try styling your top with a denim skirt and a classic black or brown boot depending on the overall fit.
